Mid Senior Java Developer

Job Qualifications:

2 – 8 years working experience in systems analysis (Insurance field is a plus)
College/University Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business
Technical experience as a Systems Analyst and actual experience in designing and developing web application using JAVA/J2EE and Oracle language. With knowledge in JSP, Hibernate, Struts, Spring JDBC, Crystal Reports, and Oracle PL/SQL
Experience in SVN, Netbeans, Eclipse, Maven or Ant
Data Conversion / Data Migration experience is a plus
With experience in Application Design, Effort Estimation, Root Cause Analysis, Code Bug Fixing, System Enhancement, Prod Support, Code Review and integration, Devt based on standards
Must be willing to work in BGC or Makati
Candidate should be open to work on a Project Based or Full-time employment

Job Description:

Identifies areas for improvement / enhancement on existing system and on new ones being developed
Determines, analyzes, and transforms business requirements to produce design specifications at the system and programming levels
Conducts capacity planning and performance tuning on supported applications as required
Develops or maintains; tests, implements and documents programs according to program specifications and Company’s standards
Identifies all possible test scenarios and prepares tests for the systems under development
Provides post-implementation and production support for systems including analysis of production problems
Performs implementation activities such as program promotions, installation of the system, training and tutorial for end users
Provides updates and status reports to the project manager during the course of a development and related support activities
